Transportation Support for Access to Education – Kibamba

To ensure that children from remote and underserved areas around Kibamba can access education without barriers, the Daughters of Mary Immaculate and Collaborators (DMI) introduced transportation support as part of the St. Joseph’s Global School initiative.

The provision of a school vehicle has made it possible for children, especially girls, to travel safely and regularly to school. This has significantly increased school attendance, reduced dropouts, and alleviated the burden on families who struggled with daily commuting.

Reliable transport has thus become a vital link in the mission to provide equitable and quality education to all.
