The Daughters of Mary Immaculate and Collaborators is widely known as DMI is an international religious congregation founded in 1984 in India by Fr. J.E. Arul Raj. Inspired by Christian values and a deep respect for human dignity, DMI is committed to transforming lives through spiritual, educational, and socio-economic development.

Since expanding to Africa in 2003, DMI has become a strong force for change empowering marginalized women, protecting children, and nurturing youth in several countries. In Tanzania, DMI is actively involved in combating human trafficking, advancing women’s empowerment, and promoting inclusive development through education.
